Root To Rise Yoga Workshop:
Mastering the Foundations of Yoga
The mission of this workshop series is to provide hands-on and broken down training of the foundations of yoga in order to strengthen and progress your practice. We will focus on body alignment, engagement from head to toe in each asana, smooth and intentional transitions using breath, modifications with or without props, and hands-on adjustments. This series will be divided up into four workshops, each lasting 75 minutes.

Session 2 Goals:
Begin with a refresher of the basic salutation warm up
By the end of the class, have a deeper understanding and further practice of:

Workshop 3: Balancing Postures
Date: Saturday, April 28
Time: 2:00 - 3:15pm

Begin with a basic salutation warmup
By the end of the class, have a deeper understanding and further practice of:

Balancing Half Moon

Workshop 4: Complete Practice
Date: Saturday, May 5

Session 3 Goals:
Complete a full, 75 minute practice with meditation at the end, using some or all of the areas from the workshops with continued hands-on adjustment.
